Gem Fest 2023 will be held on 17th August 2024
Every-one is welcome to visit us on our biggest day of the year. Set in the beautiful grounds of the Caboolture Historical Village, the festival atmosphere has entertainment for the young and the old.
Entry Fees
$5 Children under 12 FREE! The low $5 entrance fee ensures entry to the Historical Village and all the attractions it has to offer.
This year along with our usual Tailgaters selling bargains and the Traders showing their fancy wares in the Village Halls. There will be Crystal Healers, in fact anything to do with Rocks, Gems, Minerals and Crystals you will be able to find at our Gem Fest
We will capitalize on the success of 2023 and extend sites right around the Village. We will be having food vans around the Rotunda plus the Club will be selling Coffee & Cake (or Tea). Hopefully. will be a couple of Buskers to keep you entertained. All the time keeping an eye out for the Bush Rangers who might just hold up the train right in front of you.
Gem Fest 2023 was a huge success and enjoyed by all. 2024 will be even bigger and better. Thanks to all who gave their time to make this event a success, to all members of the public who attended, to the Caboolture Historical Village for providing an amazing venue for the show, and to village groups such as the blacksmith and railway group who opened for the day to add to the experience of attendees.

The Club organises field trips, usually at least once a year, and has trips in and around SE QLD. There is no need for a fossicking licence whilst travelling on a Caboolture Gem Club Field Trip, as the Club has this covered. It is included in your membership fees.
The Field Trips are Tag Along style with Club members meeting up in a town in your own vehicle. Self-sufficiency is expected, with most participants camping. Whether it's camper trailers or vans, we usually stop in caravan parks, however some members do book cabins or other types of accommodation on short trips.
Some extended trips require overnight stops, so flexibility and long haul travel can be required.
